PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION SECRETARY REVEAL A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF ADMINISTRATION.

Many officials in the Public Administration Service of Sri Lanka were working for political interests. Many incompetent officials have done the same thing by fulfilling political needs and getting positions and privileges. Those who act in such a way that the governments they don’t like are discredited, and as soon as their own government is elected, they have cut their veins of shame enough to trample the seniyars and go to higher positions. Even if they go and stay in those places, they abuse the law according to their political needs. Nothing for them who depend on political interests. It is clear that there is no knowledge.

Nil Bandara Hapuhinna, Secretary of Public Administration and Home Affairs of our country, has sent a letter to the district secretaries. Whether he can send such a letter as Administrative Secretary is a separate letter. It can be seen here that he does not know that his scribes have not been given such a duty by the Election Commission, and that the Election Commission nominates separate election officials for that. Accordingly, it is clear that this public administration secretary also has no knowledge about public administration.

Addressing all district secretaries this afternoon, through the Cabinet Secretary’s letter numbered 23/misc(001), an illegal written order has been issued to refrain from accepting the expected security deposits for the local government bodies until further notice based on the Cabinet decision dated 10.01.2023.

It is also reported that the Election Commission has decided to hold a special discussion regarding this letter issued with the signature of the Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration to suspend the acceptance of cash deposits.
