The Department of Meteorology says that there may be scattered rains or thundershowers in many parts of the island today (31) after 2.00 pm.
The department mentions that some places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southern and Uva provinces will receive mm. Heavy rains above 75 are possible.
The department said that there may be a foggy situation in some places in the Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces in the morning.
The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
