The Association of Government Medical Officers stated that there is an upward trend in cases of rat fever.
As such, the public should pay more attention in this regard as well, said Dr. Chamil Wijesinghe, the media spokesperson of the Government Medical Officers’ Association.
However, people should keep in mind that it is important to pay more attention to their health in a background where even medicines are in short supply in the country.
Rat fever is on the rise along with dengue fever.
