The Civil Aviation Authority states that from today (29) Russia’s “Red Wings” airline will start flights to Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the Civil Aviation Authority announced that a plane belonging to the “Red Wings” airline is scheduled to arrive at the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport today (29).
It is also reported that starting from today, this airline will operate flights to Sri Lanka twice a week.
Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority, Upul Dharmadasa, said that 404 Russian tourists will come to Sri Lanka on this flight.
Also, with the start of flights to Sri Lanka by the “Red Wings” airline, the number of direct flights operating between Russia and Sri Lanka is now recorded as 03.
