SEVERE SHORTAGE OF DENTAL EQUIPMENT AND MEDICINES.

It is reported that the Secretary of the Government Dentists Association Dr. Manjula Herath stated that there is a shortage of about 1300 types of equipment and medicines required for dental treatment in government hospitals and the Ministry of Health has failed to provide essential materials to dental laboratories.
