Sexual assault is filed under criminal charges.

The Cabinet has included articles in the Penal Code criminalizing sexual assault and all forms of sexual harassment.
It has also been advised to prepare a bill to amend the Penal Code by introducing a new section to make sexual bribery an offense and provide severe penalties for sexual assault and all forms of sexual harassment.
Accordingly, the proposal submitted by the Minister of Judiciary, Institutional Affairs and Constitutional Reform has been approved by the Cabinet.
