It is reported that the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Mr. Roshan Ranasinghe has gone from Colombo to Kandy this morning (7) to participate in a program being held at Pallekele. Mr. Arjuna Ranatunga has also accompanied the minister for this journey.
The minister has stated that he will use the public transport service with the aim of reducing the travel expenses of his ministry by acting according to the instructions given by the President to reduce government expenses.
