It is reported that the Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Shehan Semasinghe, said that provisions will be made to finish the housing projects that have been stopped in the middle without completing the work.
The Minister of State has also said that the related projects are expected to be completed within this year.
The minister has also mentioned that the necessary allocations to restart the housing loan and aid programs that had stopped due to the Covid epidemic and the economic crisis have already been given to the National Housing Development Authority and the Urban Development Authority of the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing.
