SUPREME COURT ORDER TO HOLD GENERAL ELECTIONS IN PAKISTAN

After it was reported that the country’s military and judicial authorities have planned to remove a country’s leader from power and delay the election, the country’s Chief Justice Iftikhar Chowdhury has ordered that no action should be taken to prevent the election.

Accordingly, the Supreme Court has ordered that the general election should be held in the coming month of May as planned.
