The Sri Lanka Tea Board stated that upland tea prices have come down.
The reasons for this are rejection of some low quality tea products.
Since history, Sri Lanka has been famous for its tea spices. The name Ceylon tea was popular as a delicious name heard in almost every country because of the tea products produced from the tea harvest brought from this country.
But today, that name is also being undermined in front of the world, thus irresponsibly introducing low quality products.
If the officials responsible for this conduct a proper quality check and prepare the products in this country, there will be no opportunity for such losses in this country.
