Central Bank Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe has stated that no declaration has been made that Sri Lanka is bankrupt.
He mentioned that only temporary suspension of loan payment was done at that time.
Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe has further stated that if the country was not able to get support from the International Monetary Fund when the country was in economic crisis, the crisis would have intensified further.
