As of today (11) morning, the air quality index of Sri Lanka has taken a good trend compared to yesterday (10).
However, as of yesterday (10) afternoon, Mannar, which was seen as a city with a severe health risk in the air quality index, had a value of 53, which has now risen to 59, according to the website of the National Building Research Organization.
This index value is shown as 22 units in Kegalle area and 42 units in Colombo district.
Also, the value of air quality index in Jaffna district is shown as 44 units and this is considered as a normal condition.
The country’s air index is recovering.
