It is reported that Bilida’s parents have been found in a toilet of a train stopped at the Colombo Fort railway station.
Passengers and railway authorities found this baby who was left on the Minagaya train which was about to leave for Batticaloa at around 7 pm yesterday (10) and the child was found on the 25th and it is reported that he was left like this yesterday.
The police had started investigations to find Bilida’s parents and according to the information received, it is reported that a 26-year-old unmarried couple was arrested by the Koslanda police station.
It is reported that the suspected young man was employed in Dehiwala area and after hearing that the girl was about to have a child, he brought her and stopped her in Colombo area.
