It is reported that the girl’s father was arrested for brutally beating a 6-month-old girl. The girl’s mother is abroad and it is said that the father has brutally beaten the little girl due to the delay in receiving the money earned from abroad this month. The suspect’s first wife and her two daughters have also been taken to the police and it is reported that the suspect is going to be produced before the Higurakgoda Magistrate’s Court today (10). The suspect is said to be a resident of Bakamoona Tharagallewa area.
It is stated that the suspect has sent several video clips of the child being beaten to his wife abroad and the little girl who was beaten has been taken into police custody.
