In Polonnaruwa – Bakamuna area, a father poisoned his 12-year-old child.
He reports that his 12-year-old child was poisoned to prevent his wife from going abroad. The father is a 48-year-old man and states that there have been fights between the mother and the father for some time.
It is reported that the 12-year-old child was taken to the hospital for treatment and the father involved in the incident was taken into police custody yesterday (21).
