THE KENT WARSHIP LEAVES

The British Royal Navy’s Kent warship arrived at the Port of Colombo yesterday from the Port of Chittagong in Bangladesh.

It is reported that the ship Kent has left the island after engaging in a naval exercise today.

The ship is 133 meters long and 16 meters wide and belongs to the Southeast Asian Forces.

This massive warship is equipped with anti-aircraft and anti-ship missiles as well as anti-submarine torpedoes.

A meeting was also held between Commander Matthew Sykes, Commanding Officer, Kent, and Rear Admiral Upul de Silva, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Navy, at the Western Naval Command Headquarters.
