He has stated that it is wrong to attack the monk and the two women in the incident that occurred in a temple in Kaduwela Navagamuwa area and that care should be taken when releasing such incidents on social media.
It has also been said that the Maha Nayaka Theras should make a decision about the title of the event and that the Ministry of Buddha Shasana will not intervene in it.
