It is reported that a woman who was in close contact with Shiran Bashik, who is known by the police as a large-scale heroin trafficker, was arrested by the Special Task Force while having heroin in her possession.
Police say she has been identified as the man’s mistress.
The woman was arrested after raiding a house in Polgasovita area of Kasbewa police domain, where 480 mg of heroin was also found.
Police have said that she is a woman from Dehiwala area.
