It is reported that President Ranil Wickremesinghe will leave the island today (14) starting his official visit to China.
It is said that during the visit, the President will meet and hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Also, several new trade agreements are planned to be signed there and it is said that the Cabinet of Ministers approved the same the day before.
China, the country’s largest foreign creditor, will pay more attention to the intervention in the debt restructuring process during this visit.
