It is reported that the price of several essential consumer goods provided to the public by Lanka Sathosa Institute has been reduced.
Accordingly, the following items can be obtained by customers from Sathosa outlets all over the island and it is stated that this price reduction will be effective from today (20).
Soya meat has been reduced by 45 rupees and its new price is 580 rupees.
A kilo of halibut has been reduced by 30 rupees and the new price is 1100 rupees.
A kilo of big onion has been reduced by 15 rupees and the new price is 195 rupees.
A kilo of local potato has been reduced by 40 rupees and its new price is 290 rupees.
A kilo of red lentils has been reduced by Rs 6 and its new price is Rs 299.
A kilo of garlic has been reduced by 30 rupees and its new price is 620 rupees.
