THE STRIKE AGAINST THE PUBLIC IS UNDERWAY!

It is the people who have been affected by the strikes in Sri Lanka since the time we know. The demands of the strikes based on various demands did not include the methods of developing Sri Lanka. They included the personal requests of public servants who were paid by the public. Among them, the creation of wage disparity between the executive class and the common class, the campaigns against the corrupt promotions that destroy the public service, as well as the normalization of strikes, salary increases, tax collection from public servants who draw high salaries, etc. Strikes cannot be justified.

Civil servants are on strike today against the government. The government is the people. They make their demands from the public. But the civil servants think that by doing this they will hurt the President or the Ministers. But they don’t hurt. It hurts the common people of this country who pay taxes to pay the salaries of these public servants.

However, the politicians of this country have bequeathed corrupt public service to the country since their history. If they did not use the public service for the promotion of their political parties, they did not use the public service for the country, for the promotion of the country. As a result, everything is now corrupted. Also, none of these civil servants have gone on strike against any fraud, corruption or irregularity in the country.

Therefore, at this time, instead of strikes, the government should be given the necessary space to continue these works peacefully and fairly for some time. Without that, fulfilling their demands will cause them to suffer even more. So what they should do at this time is to give a few months for the People’s Government instead of strikes. By not doing so, the oppressed public should not be oppressed further. This only leads to conflict between the government and the public servant.
