The vote on the second reading of the budget, which is to be unconditionally supported by the Podujana Peramuna, is today

The second reading debate of the budget presented for the year 2023 is scheduled to be held today (22) afternoon.
Also, on the 14th, President Ranil Wickremesinghe as the Minister of Finance presented the budget document to the Parliament, after which the second reading debate was held for 7 days, and the voting will be held today (22).
Apart from this, from tomorrow (23rd) to December 08th, the debate on the third reading of the budget will be held and the voting will be held that afternoon.
Meanwhile, the group of members of parliament of Samigijana Balawega met yesterday (21) where they have decided to vote against the budget in today’s (22) poll.
Also, Sri Lanka Freedom Party, National People’s Force and the Freedom National Assembly led by Member of Parliament Dallas Alahapperuma have also decided to vote against the budget today (22).
And the Tamil National Alliance is going to meet today (22) in the morning and take a decision about it.
However, the chief organizer of the ruling party, Minister Prasanna Ranatunga, has stated that he supports the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna budget unconditionally.
