It is reported that a young woman who fell into the Upper Kotmala Reservoir in Talawakele was rescued by the citizens of Talawakele and the police with great efforts.
It is said that this young woman has fallen into a very deep place near the cooperative head office of Talawakele in Upper Kothmala reservoir, and it is said that the townspeople who saw her falling in the reservoir were able to save her life due to the immediate action.
A few townspeople jumped into the reservoir and grabbed her while the others put ropes and pulled her ashore with great difficulty, and later she was admitted to Lindula Regional Hospital for treatment.
The police said that a 24-year-old girl from Agarapatana area was rescued after falling into the reservoir. She was walking near the reservoir after thinking about it without a job, and fainted and fell into the reservoir.
