It is reported that Mr. Susil Premajayantha, the Minister of Education, said that yesterday (24th) the teachers of 10 question papers that will evaluate the A-level answer sheets have started their work and all arrangements have been made to hold the general level examination on the 29th of May.
The minister who commented in this regard,
“Actually, I am thankful to FUTA on the one hand. They have been in constant conversation with me. I sent the answers to the letter sent yesterday. They will look into it positively. I hope that the problem will be resolved by today. Because yesterday the chiefs of 10 papers came and started the work. Another thing we did was to prevent the delay in the results of this exam. As usual, the practical tests start after the theory paper test. This time we agreed with the teachers’ unions, so we were able to hold the practical tests earlier. Also, increase the number of centers. The examination department is making arrangements. Then the time taken to check the examination papers can be reduced. Also, all arrangements are being made to hold the general examination on the 29th. The general examination will be over in 10 days.”
