Coal Coal Company Chairman Mr. Shehan Sumanasekara states that there is no sufficient financial provision for the purchase of coal for the power plant’s generation activities.
He further states that 22 billion rupees is needed for the month of February, but so far 2.5 billion rupees have been received.
