TRIBAL CONFLICTS COST MANY LIVES.

Severe acts of violence are reported to be taking place in the state of Papua New Guinea.

As a result, it was reported that 64 people were shot and killed last weekend.

It is further stated that it was the violence between tribal groups in a mountainous region of Papua New Guinea.

Foreign media say that about 17 tribal groups are involved in the violence that took place in Enga state during the past weekend.

Tribal groups thus fight to share land and wealth.

In July of last year, the clashes escalated here as well, due to which the authorities have taken steps to completely close the region for three months.
