It is reported that the government has decided to build tunnels below the railway track by identifying the places where elephants are found and killed by the train.
It is said that the first tunnel to be built through this project is to be built today (01) in Kasikote, Gatadivula area between Galgamuwa and Ambanpola stations under the leadership of Transport Minister Bandula Gunawardena and Transport Ministry Secretary Ranjith Rupasinghe.
