It is reported that the Kegalle Division Criminal Investigation Unit arrested two people who dug for a gem pot in Galigamuwa area.
The two are said to be a mason and an electrician.
The mason’s deceased father had come to him in a dream and had been digging in an attempt to retrieve a pot of gems.
It is reported that 270 grams of ammonia used for blasting granite, a stick of gelatine, a compressor and many offerings were found in the possession of these suspects.
The two arrested suspects are scheduled to be presented to the court today (24).
