It is reported that the Nawalapitiya Railway Control Room has said that measures have been taken to restore the existing road blockages due to a derailment of a train between Kotagala and Hatton railway stations on the Upland Railway.
Yesterday evening (28) a special train that had been set aside for a few days to shoot a foreign film and was coming back to Colombo Fort was derailed yesterday (28) and the train running on the Upcountry Railway was interrupted.
The Nawalapitiya Railway Control Room has stated that the upland railway is running normally.
