VERDICT ON ANTI-TERRORISM BILL TO SPEAKER.

It is reported that the hearing of the petition filed demanding that certain clauses of the Anti-Terrorism Bill submitted to the Parliament be ruled against the Constitution has been completed.

Accordingly, the Supreme Court has announced that it will forward its confidential decision to the Speaker of the Parliament.

31 petitions were filed challenging the relevant bill and they were heard for 6 days.

After completing the hearing of the petition today, the Supreme Court has announced this decision.
