Speaking to the media, Mr. Tissa Attanayake stated that he does not agree with postponing the election and that the election was delayed because the government did not provide facilities for the election.
He further stated that the right to vote given to the people of Sri Lanka by the constitution should be given to the people and that the president’s mental illness cannot be treated.
