The body of a woman with her hands tied was found in a suspicious luggage found near the Sapugaskanda oil refinery recently. The body of the deceased woman was identified today (05) at the Ragama Hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Mohamed Safiq Fatima, 45, a resident of the Maligawatta apartment complex and a mother of two.
After the body was identified, her husband said she had gone to the Bloemendal area from Maligawatte with another woman on the 29th to meet a close friend and had not returned home since.
