Jaffna University students protest

Members of the Jaffna University Students’ Union are protesting today (17) by closing the gates of the university.
Protesting student unions have called on the university administration to protect the rights of university students and to end the harassment of university students.
The protest was organized by blocking the entrance to the university to prevent university students and staff from entering the university.
The students allege that the university administration is unnecessarily influencing the activities of university students.
