Malnourished children are also attacked by wasps

There is a wasp in a tree near a ground building of Bogaswewa College, Vavuniya. The children of the school have been attacked by wasps due to the stirring of a wasp powder.
42 children who were attacked by wasps were admitted to Vavuniya Hospital today (17).
Hospital sources say that some of the children are in a serious condition.
By now, the children have been evacuated and the residents of the area have stated that many children were saved from the wasp attack due to the hard efforts of the parents and teachers of the children.
Surveys conducted in Sri Lanka have found that a large number of school students suffer from malnutrition.
Also, Sri Lanka is currently ranked 64th among the world’s most hungry countries.
