A meeting between His Excellency the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Milan Hawork and the Minister of Public Defense Rear Admiral Dr. Sarath Weerasekera was held at the Ministry today (16).
Discussions were held on security, exchange of information and strengthening relations between the two sides.
Minister Sarath Weerasekera also expressed his gratitude for the support extended to Sri Lanka during the LTTE war.
Dr. Lohitha Samarawickrema, Consul General of the Czech Republic, Prof. Rohan Gunaratne, Dr. Sanjay Perera and Maduranga Perera also participated in the discussion.
