World leaders have pledged to prevent deforestation by 2030 at the Global Climate Change Conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
What makes it special is that it includes Brazil, which makes up a large percentage of the Emerson Forest, the world’s largest evergreen evergreen forest.
The main cause of the current climate change is the destruction of lattice until the carbon-dioxide that warms the earth is absorbed by the air.
These world leaders have also agreed to provide financial assistance needed to rehabilitate such devastated areas.
Leaders of more than 100 countries are expected to sign the agreement, which accounts for 85% of the world’s forest resources.
