The Ministry of Education has announced that all school examinations scheduled to be held by the Sri Lanka Examinations Department have been postponed due to the Kovida epidemic in the country.
It has been decided to conduct the relevant examinations on the following dates with the approval of the Cabinet of Ministers on the recommendation of the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka.
Accordingly, the Grade 05 Scholarship Examination will be held on Saturday 22nd January 2022.
GCE (Advanced Level) Examination from Monday 07th February 2022 to Saturday 05th March 2022,
It has been decided to hold the GCE (O / L) Examination from Monday 23rd May 2022 to Wednesday 01st June 2022.
These decisions have been taken taking into consideration several factors such as allocating time for students’ academic activities after the opening of schools and giving some time to the Sri Lanka Examinations Department to organize examinations.
