The 72nd Anniversary Celebrations of the Army today (10) was held at the Gajaba Regiment Headquarters, Saliyapura, Anuradhapura with the participation of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.
Simultaneously, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa inaugurated the newly constructed Cricket Ground at the Headquarters.
Cricketers Thisara Perera and Ajantha Mendis were present at the occasion.
