The Commander of the Indian Army General Manoj Makund Narawana arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday (12) at the invitation of the Commander of the Army General Shavendra Silva for a five day visit.
The Indian Army Chief is scheduled to meet President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa today (13).
Accordingly, the Chief of the Indian Army is scheduled to meet the President at around 11.30 am today and the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa and a group of Government Security Chiefs are also scheduled to meet.
He is scheduled to attend the 38th anniversary celebrations of the Gajaba Regiment in Saliyapura tomorrow (14).
