The President is currently attending the United Nations Conference on Climate Change in Glasgow, Scotland, where he has met with a large number of world leaders.
The President has met with Heads of State from a number of countries to promote trade, tourism and education.
President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa held talks with the Prime Minister of Bahrain Salman Bean Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday (02) and focused on further expanding employment opportunities between the two countries.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Patricia also held talks with Scotland to focus on further developing trade opportunities between the Commonwealth countries, the Presidential Media Unit said.
The President also met with the Prime Minister of Nepal Shah Bahadur Dewba, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Senensky, the Crown Prince of Wales and a number of Heads of State from the Middle East and the West.
