After a ten day long journey with the respect and reverence of the people on both sides of the road, King Nedungamuwe arrived at the Temple of the Tooth a short while ago to pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Despite the heavy rains in and around Kandy today, thousands of people gathered on both sides of the road to pay their respects to Raja, despite the risk of rain or Covid.
The Venerable Elephant Kings, who arrived in Kandy under tight security, will pay homage to the Sacred Tooth Relic in the forthcoming Dalada Perahera.
