Rajandram Rajamahendran, Director, Maharaja Group of Companies, which owns a business network of about 30 leading business entities, passed away this morning. R. Rajamahendran, the son of Sinathambi Rajandram, the founder of the Capital Maharaja Organization, owns about seven communications companies and has a small stake in the Capital Maharaja group. His son is Shashidharan Rajamahendran and Arun Pradeep Maharaja is the son of Maharaja Rajandram and nephew of Rajandram Rajamahendran. Anjali Sujatha Rajamahendran is the daughter of Rajandram Rajamahendran.
In Black July 1983, the ancients declared that all his businesses were burned, and since then he has come a long way in the business world of promoting products through Anchor, a journey that has come very subtly and deliberately. Through Mrs. Roshi Senanayake, Anchor Kiri was promoted and the Sinhala language was distorted through Sirasa FM. However, it is said that he had some animosity with the Sinhala nation because the Sinhalese set fire to all his businesses in Black July.
However, from time to time, great proposals have been brought in on behalf of Sri Lankans, and since they have been enjoyed without discrimination, a great deal has been done for the country. At the end of it all, I extend our deepest condolences to him who had a common death for all and wish him Nirvana healing.
