Siripa grace that begins in Unduwap mahe.

Inaugural religious programs started on the 5th, and the procession started with the Saman Deva statue and other ornaments. Sri Padasthan is a Buddhist sacred shrine built in connection with Siripatula, located on the top of the mountain at a height of about 2243 meters above sea level in the central mountainous area of Ratnapura district of Sabaragamuwa province, Sri Lanka.
The area around Sripada Kanda is surrounded by large mountain ranges and this beautiful peak made of dense forest is an area where many animals like elephants, tigers and bears stay. Sripadasthan can be called as a special place of worship.
Before the public worships Siripa, the first religious rites to provide all the work from the worshiping of Saman Devabharan was conducted at Sripada Rajamaha Viharaya, Pelmadulla Galpottavala on December 05.
Sumana Saman Deva statue, ornaments and offerings were taken away from the auspicious time of the morning on 05th and worshiped by the public till the morning of 06th.
On December 06, the statue of Saman Deva was taken in a procession carrying ornaments and offerings from the public along 04 routes to Sri Pada Udamalu. An opportunity was provided to worship Sri Pada Padma.
That opportunity will end on Vesak Poho in the year 2023.
