With the appointment of Ranil Wickremesinghe as the new Prime Minister, the number of protests throughout the country has greatly decreased. But there were general protests. Due to the lack of fuel and gas, all the other protests were canceled. In particular, they disappeared in the hope that the new prime minister would make a difference.
Although Ranil Wickremesinghe is committed to this, the behavior of the members of the ruling party in parliament has once again provoked the people. At this point their behavior has taken a very dull-witted form. People are once again disturbed by their linguistic style and violence.
One of the reasons for this is that the suspects who have been identified in connection with the attack on Galle Face Green have not yet been arrested. They were the ones who started instant rage in Galle Face as a result of their behavior. But the resurgence has been fueled by the arrest of suspects in crimes committed by outraged people across the country. In addition, the “resurrection” of this struggle is taking place, seeking answers to all existing problems, including addressing only their own issues in parliament, rather than resolving the existing crisis.
We have reported on two occasions about the dangers of any impact on the struggle at Galle Face Green. We also submitted the second report about two hours before the attack. We have also informed the relevant authorities before writing. But they were all “like diarrhea.” We have also reported that what happened to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa could be what happened to Gaddafi. All of that is reported on this site. We have reported all of them to the relevant sectors to protect them as well as the general public.
However, the security forces have nothing to do with the political authorities governing the country not acting in a specific manner. The political powers “reaped what they sowed.” The same goes for the future. He reiterated that the riots could be even worse and that it was the responsibility of the parliamentarians to arrest all those who attacked the protest and brought the thugs to Temple Trees and incited them, including the police officers who were waiting for the attack on Galle Face. The powers that be will also be held accountable for future disasters by the Sri Lankan police, who will continue to “cover up”.
