Accordingly, the agitation launched by the mechanical boat fishermen in this regard is still active today (19) and they state that this agitation is planned to be activated for a week.
Through this agitation, they are requesting permission from the Central and State Governments to carry out fishing activities in the Kachchativu seas.
They also demanded adequate compensation for the Indian fishing vessels arrested by the Navy recently.
