The five-person report that investigated the Drug Regulatory Authority reveals a lot of information

Minister of State Channa Jayasumana stated that proposals have been made that a number of structural changes be made to the National Drug Regulatory Authority to make it functional.

The recent report of the five-member committee, which was appointed by the five-member committee appointed to study the activities of the Drug Regulatory Authority, has revealed a lot of information in this regard.

The five-member committee is chaired by retired High Court Judge Kusala Sarojini Weerawardena and the report was handed over to the Minister of State recently.

Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana stated that the relevant report has revealed that a number of frauds and corruptions have taken place in the institution and that recommendations have been made to amend the Drugs Regulatory Authority Act expeditiously.
