The National Plant Quarantine Service has stated that the laboratory testing process to reject the much talked about stock of Chinese organic fertilizer in the country has been carried out properly.
Dr. Thushara Wickramarachchi, Additional Director of the National Plant Quarantine Service, commented on the summons issued by the Chinese company seeking compensation of US $ 8 million.
According to the Plant Quarantine Service, the Chinese Fertilizer Company has not yet received the benefit of the doubt.
Dr. Thushara Wickramarachchi, Additional Director of the Plant Quarantine Service stated that he is ready to take further action if the relevant summons is not received.
