The Chief Incumbent of the Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya, Ven. Prof. Kollupitiya Mahinda Sangha Thero has been appointed.
That was after the death of the Most Venerable Dr. Welamitiyawe Kusaladhamma Thero who had previously served as the Chancellor of the University of Kelaniya.
