Today (29) marks the one year anniversary of the active Kovid control vaccination program in the country.
Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana stated that Sri Lanka is among the top 10 countries in the world vaccination program.
Simultaneously, a program to promote the booster vaccine will be launched within a week from today, the Minister of State said.
So far 35,634,497 doses have been given to the people of this country, the Minister said.
The minister also gave 23,029,353 doses of Cyanoform, 7,798,598 doses of Pfizer, 2,899,460 doses of Astra Seneca, 1,592,162 doses of Modernna and 314,924 doses of Sputnik.
