Two special cargo aircraft of the Indian Air Force arrived at the Katunayake International Airport this morning (04) carrying nano nitrogen liquid fertilizer purchased by Sri Lanka and manufactured in India.
The first aircraft carried 72,576 liters of nano nitrogen liquid fertilizer while the other aircraft carried 72,576 liters of fertilizer.
Accordingly, it is reported that the stock of fertilizer has been taken to the Central Warehousing Complex of the Ministry of Agriculture, Colombo.
